Steps being taken to protect America
On November 12th, 2020 then President Trump signed executive order 13959 banning U.S. investment in "Communist Chinese military companies." In the video below, Roger Robinson Jr, former senior director of the National Security Council under the late President Ronald Reagan, comments on the Senate's newly passed Innovation and Competition Act and Biden's executive order extending Trump's ban on blacklisted companies which took effect on August 2nd, 2021. How God delivered a solution for all of us
It was Monday July 15th, 2019 in Washington D.C. when The Lord put GODSPEED Magazine's Publisher Jeremy Lamont in a conference room with a number of D.C. heavies including Roger Robinson Jr. After military, political, business, and intelligence experts reported that China was (is) the greatest threat to the survival of America and the free world, Roger finally spoke. He very decisively said,
"There's only one way we survive."
The room went silent and Jeremy listened intently to Roger's explanation. It began, 'Our major financial institutions have failed to disclose a form of risk that exists in many American financial instruments. That form of risk... is human rights violations and China is the greatest perpetrator of human rights violations. In order to survive, at least 100M retail American investors must move their buying power out of China and into the U.S.'
Roger, looked right at Jeremy and said, "Where am I going to find a media outlet willing to carry this message?" As senior director of the NSC, Roger architected the secret economic and financial strategy for the take-down of the Soviet Union. His words carry exceptional weight.
So why are we, the American people, betraying our own country?
We simply don't know that we're doing it.
In 2021 Gallup reported that 56% of Americans report owning stock. The majority of us rely on professionally managed pension funds, mutual funds, or exchange-traded funds (ETFs) to run our investments and retirement accounts.
In addition to pointing out that tens of billions of our U.S. pension fund dollars are being invested in China, Steven Schoenfeld, the founder and chief investment officer of BlueStar Indexes says, "...estimates by several major investment banks, the IMF, and BlueStar Indexes, suggest aggregate equity and bond portfolio investment into China could exceed $800 billion between now and the end of 2023."
So what do we do?
The longest prayer of Yeshua HaMashiach (Jesus Christ) in the Bible is John 17. Yeshua asks Abba (God our Father) to glorify their unity and prays, "...that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me." (John 17:21 NKJV)
If the body of Christ can simply say, "We agree that Yeshua (Jesus) is God and we want to survive" then we can agree to do this one thing to protect the freedom to worship God on earth:
WE DO ONE THING - VOTE WITH OUR WALLETS
Pause reality for just this second.
Imagine seeing through God’s eyes right now.
He can see eternity and every possibility that could ever occur.
Look through His eyes and see what would happen
if the entire body of Christ, the ekklesia, suddenly became obedient to Yeshua.
Imagine the change in the world that would result if billions suddenly obeyed Him.
If we confess Yeshua’s identity (God in flesh) to ourselves and the world
then we know all the law and all the prophets hang on two commandments.
His new commandment means we love one another on a daily basis.
We understand "love" because Yeshua defined what real love is.
John 14:15-16, John 15:13, Ephesians 5:25
We prove we're His by forgiving people 490 times.
Yeshua knew (every one of us) would need ongoing forgiveness by reading the words of the daily prayer He gave us ("...this day...forgive us our trespasses").

Pause reality for just this second.
Our time is so short. Even if we live 100 years, we only have 36,500 days.
Tomorrow is not promised to us. Eternity hangs in the balance.
It’s hard to grasp the magnitude of the choice we’re making if we’re lukewarm about following Yeshua.
Read Revelation 3:15-22 and see if you have peace.
Today could change our place in eternity if we change toward Him.
Only Yeshua is The Head of the body of Christ.
We bring glory to Yeshua when we are one (united) in Him.
We call no one but God "Rabbi," "Father," or "Master.”
We trade with each other giving and receiving accordingly.
We know we're saved by grace so none can boast.
We know there is only one way to The Father.
We know who inherits eternal life.
We have been commissioned to make disciples, teaching all nations, baptizing in the name of The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit.
We know the punchline of the Bible.

Asymmetrical warfare of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) advances
8 shareable links to wake up our sleeping nation
Even the mainstream media (NBC in this case) continues to report on the torture and attempted governmental cover-up within concentration camps in Xinjiang China (June 2021) of this year.
The CCP is continuing to expand their presence below our southern border in the Caribbean (which sleeping scholars claim is not military in nature but China continues to buy and expand ports to house what is now the world's largest naval fleet.)
China's extraordinary military build-up relies on funds from ongoing American business relationships. How intense is the threat? Consider their current plans to build 270 new nuclear missile sites.
Many Americans are aware that Fentanyl has been coming across our borders and killing our citizens. How many are aware that China is the primary supplier or that there is a massive increase in killing Americans with Fentanyl poisoning?
Most experts now believe that the Wuhan bio-weapons facility released COVID-19 but how many understand that China is the largest pharmaceutical (supplier)? The U.S. is dangerously dependent on China.
How many Americans know that China seems to be working diligently to take over our farm lands of many nations including America?
Although fact-checkers attempted to debunk the threat, China's interest in "winter training" on our northern border in Canada was real.
The CCP is demonstrating their belief that they have a (coming) position of global dominance with international law violations in the South China Sea.

Very few Americans are aware that we are under attack
Most Americans have never studied China’s Warring States Period. How does China's current leader see himself? Xi Jinping, (the Chinese Communist Party's general secretary and president of the People's Liberation Army), is modeling his plans for global domination on the genocidal Marxist leader Mao Zedong. The Washington Post reported, “From 1958 to 1962, his (Mao Zedong’s) Great Leap Forward policy led to the deaths of up to 45 million people - easily making it the biggest episode of mass murder ever recorded.”
Tiananmen, which means "Gate of Heavenly Peace," Square in Beijing China is where the 1989 Tiananmen Square Massacre occurred. The Chinese Communist Party's Premier Li Peng and others ordered the "People's Liberation Army" to murder peaceful protesters who were asking for constitutional due process, democracy, freedom of the press, and freedom of speech among other things. The Chinese strategic deception program was launched by Mao Zedong in 1955 to lull America and the world into believing China was benign. (Click on "key takeaway" for more detail.)
Truth is under attack. The majority of Americans haven’t fully processed the implications of Hong Kong’s invasion by the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) tyrannical regime or the silent screams of Hong Kong's once free citizens. Fake elections are being planned. More than 7.5 million Hong Kong citizens no longer live in a free country because the CCP robbed them of their freedom and human rights. We must recognize that these fallen nations are warning signs pointing to America’s future unless we break out of our slumber and false sense of security.
China’s actions in Hong Kong, Cuba, Canada, Taiwan, India, Japan, the Caribbean, South China Seas, and other areas have a direct bearing on the future of America.

Editors perspective by GSM Editor in Chief David Aikman
The horrifying scenes from Afghanistan this week
have brought to mind what happened in Vietnam 46 years ago.
Then, it was people trying to hang onto US helicopters taking off
from the American Embassy in Saigon.
Today, it is Afghans falling off American jets
as they take off from Kabul
evacuating US personnel and vulnerable Afghans
who collaborated with them.
In both cases, there was a dramatic failure of the American moral character to protect from tyranny a country we had promised to protect. In Vietnam and in Cambodia, it was from tyranny of communism. In Afghanistan, was from the tyranny of a fanatical interpretation of Islamic sharia law.
This is not a time for partisanship but for a humble admission of moral accountability.

Americans all over the world are preparing to celebrate their national day of independence, the Fourth of July 2021, on the 245th anniversary of the declaration by the Continental Congress that the thirteen American colonies were no longer subordinate to the monarch of Britain, King George III.
About this blessed day, John Adams wrote to his wife Abigail,
"I am apt to believe that it will be celebrated, by succeeding Generations, as the great anniversary Festival. It ought to be commemorated, as the Day of Deliverance by solemn Acts of Devotion to God Almighty. It ought to be solemnized with Pomp and Parade, with Shews, Games, Sports, Guns, Bells, Bonfires and Illuminations from one End of this Continent to the other from this Time forward forever more.
You will think me transported with Enthusiasm but I am not. -- I am well aware of the Toil and Blood and Treasure, that it will cost Us to maintain this Declaration, and support and defend these States. -- Yet through all the Gloom I can see the Rays of ravishing Light and Glory. I can see that the End is more than worth all the Means. And that Posterity will tryumph in that Days Transaction, even altho We should rue it, which I trust in God We shall not."
Meanwhile, the Chinese Communist Party is making much of the 100 year anniversary since the Chinese Communist Party was founded in 1921. But the values projected by these two anniversaries could not be more different. The independence of the United States from Great Britain led to a tradition of political freedom all over the world. By contrast, The Chinese Communist Party created a resume in 1949, when it came to power, that crossed all personal and political freedom from then until today. Worse than that, CCP policies led to the deaths of millions of Chinese. By far the most murderous campaign was the Great Leap Forward, which began in 1958 and came to an end in 1962. Tens of millions of Chinese died of starvation and political repression when private farms were forcibly collectivized all over the country. When the deaths that occurred during the great leap are added to repression in political campaigns throughout the 1950s and 1960s some estimates rise to more than 100 million innocent civilians dying.
As long as the two global civilizations have completely different attitudes towards truth, it is important for Christians to remind the world that no civilization can be great if it refuses to recognize the truth of it’s own past. Repentance is necessary to make way for revival.

Thirty-two years ago on June 5, 1989, I crouched behind a wall in Beijing as trucks carrying Chinese soldiers were shooting in all directions on the northern side of China’s largest public space – Tiananmen Square.
I watched the Chinese People’s Liberation Army suppress China’s growing democracy movement. Known as the Tiananmen Square Massacre, Chinese troops fired at demonstrators and those trying to block the military's advance into the square. Estimates of the death toll range from several hundred to several thousand, with thousands wounded.
Any discussion of the events in 1989 is now completely prohibited, especially in Hong Kong, where until recently citizens have enjoyed some degree of civic freedom inherited from the British. They ruled Hong Kong from 1842 until giving the territory back to China in 1997.
Tyranny, History and George Orwell’s 1984
As George Orwell made clear in his chilling novel 1984, tyrannical regimes control the past to determine the future of the people over whom they rule.
It is ominous that the Chinese government has essentially joined forces with the Russian government which acted as allies to the Chinese Communist Party during the Cold War to suppress protests in the nation of Myanmar against political control the army established in February.
This week, 32 years later, a different kind of suppression is taking place at the behest of Chinese Communist Party leaders in Beijing.
A similar Russian and Chinese agreement prevents open discussion of the recent forcing down of a passenger plane overflying Belarus. An opposition blogger was arrested when the airplane landed.
Russia, which is closely allied with Belarus, approved of this illegal action, and China has failed to protest it as well. Democracy of some kind has prevailed in Belarus until quite recently.
Protests of One-Party Rule in China Not Allowed
It is illegal now to discuss the 1989 Tiananmen Square event or any issue related to China’s one-party rule.
I recall that in early June of 1989, hundreds of Beijing citizens were shocked by the violence. Some of them were merely brushing their teeth in upstairs apartments when they were hit by random fire from below.
For three decades, the people of Hong Kong have conducted an annual visit during the first week of June to commemorate the people shot and killed in the army’s crackdown on pro-democracy protesters in 1989.
This last week Beijing authorities made any discussion of the events of 1989 illegal in Hong Kong.
Manipulating Contemporary Reality
Orwell, in his book 1984, showed that any regime that in a minute can manipulate history is quite likely in a minute to manipulate contemporary reality.
China’s attempt to suppress completely any honest discussion of what happened in 1989 is a brutal illustration for the rest of the world about the slippery slope we are on in the West as many nations, including the United States, embrace forms of socialism.
There are sure to be future demonstrations within Hong Kong against the regressive Beijing regime, but they are sure to be suppressed as ruthlessly as all previous protests have been in Hong Kong.
Meanwhile, there is continuing anti-democratic regression in several parts of the world.
In Belarus, for example, the incumbent head of the government, President Alexander Lukashenko, is certain to continue repressing protesters of that country’s recent elections, assumed by many independent surveys to have been fraudulent.
Then there is the situation in Southeast Asia. The regime ruling Myanmar continues to shoot dead protesters who are critical of its operations.
Today, 32 years after pro-democracy protests in Tiananmen Square, we must remember that freedom flourishes when the truth is revealed and recedes when it is suppressed.

Ever since May 14,1948 when David Ben-Gurion, executive head of the World Zionist Organization, declared the independence and (re) establishment of the State of Israel, this country, so precious to committed lovers of Jesus, has been under almost constant threat to its survival as a nation.
On May 11,1949 the State of Israel was admitted to membership in the United Nations with UN Resolution 273 after receiving the approval of 37 countries: Argentina, Australia, Bolivia, ByelorussianSSR, Canada, Chile, China, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Czechoslovakia, Dominican_Republic, Ecuador, France, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, Iceland, Liberia, Luxembourg, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Nicaragua, Norway, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Philippines, Poland, South Africa, Ukrainian SSR, USSR, United States, Uruguay, Venezuela, Yugoslavia.
Following the successful war of independence in 1948-49, there were at least six major conflicts between 1967 and 1973. In the Six-Day War of June 1967, the Gaza Strip was taken back by Israel, and retained for the next quarter century. There have been several other existential battles that Israel has faced since then.
Now Israel is facing yet another major crisis with the unrest between Israeli citizens of Arab background (about 20 percent of the population of the country) and Jewish Israelis in Jerusalem and other cities in Israel with large populations of both Jews and Arabs. Some have warned of the danger of a full scale civil war breaking out between Jews and Arabs in the country.
Christians must pray earnestly that the ethnic rivalry between Jews and Arabs deescalates. There is a major danger of civil war along ethnic lines, and this would be a catastrophe for the country. The Hamas charter, published in 1988, calls on Muslims everywhere to fight for the destruction of Israel. It also specifically invites Muslims to kill Jews wherever they find them.
Will Israel Take Back the Gaza Territory?
Israel, which gave up the Gaza Strip to the Palestinian National Authority in 2007, has faced persistent rocket barrages into its territory from Islamist groups like Hamas operating in Gaza.
If the Israeli government feels it has no alternative to the current belligerence of the Islamists of Gaza than to invade and take back the Gaza territory, the international ramifications will be gigantic.
Naturally, Israel will come under the global condemnation at the United Nations and elsewhere by people who regard the Palestinian demands as non-negotiable.
As far as Israelis are concerned, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu made it clear that the destructive attitude of Islamists has united the Jewish people as never before.
We don’t know yet what the attitude will be of the United States, but we do know that under Biden administration, America has been much less supportive of Israel than it was under former President Donald Trump, Biden’s predecessor.
Hundreds of Missiles Fired into Israel
Palestinian Islamic groups in Gaza, which is governed by the Islamic Resistance Movement also known as Hamas, have launched thousands of missiles into Israel. These have killed and wounded dozens of Israeli citizens.
Israel has responded by launching strikes against military targets in Gaza, including at individuals associated with planning the strikes against Israel and the actual locations from where the rockets are launched.
Inevitably, civilians have been killed and wounded in Gaza who were unconnected with the Israeli-Palestinian issue. This is the worst violence in years between Israelis and Palestinians, with hundreds of Palestinians killed and wounded, and the United Nations warned the conflict could mushroom into “full-scale war.”
This week, Netanyahu warned Hamas that if they did not suppress the rockets being launched into the Gaza territory in Israel, there would be a profound military assault on the country by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF).
There are reports of many tanks being assembled close to the Israeli border with Gaza. Many people have interpreted Netanyahu’s ultimatum as a warning that Israel may completely invade Gaza as a whole territory with its ground forces.
A full-scale land invasion would be much more serious than any previous wars involving Palestinians.
Essentially, Israel would be taking back, at least temporarily, the entire administration and livelihood of those living on the Gaza Strip. The destruction caused as a result of a military initiative would have profound consequences internationally.
Biblically speaking, the Lord our God does not instruct us to trade land He's given us for peace (see Deuteronomy 7).
Pray Earnestly for Israel
Followers of Jesus in the United States and internationally do not have the luxury of not being concerned about what happens in Israel. In fact, ever since President Harry Truman recognized the new state of Israel within minutes of its Declaration of Independence by Prime Minister David Ben-Gurion, American Christians have been instinctively pro Israel. Let us pray that this biblically-based affinity for the Jewish state remains strong, in spite of pressures within the Biden administration to follow a different course.
The future of Christian believers all over the world is in many ways intimately bound up with the destiny of Israel.
We Christians must pray earnestly for grace and wisdom for that country and its leaders, even as we live out our own destiny in God’s kingdom.

Sometimes a casual comment in a conversation by telephone can alert you to something profoundly serious going on in a country.
I was talking to a friend in Moscow whom I have known for more than two decades. We never mention the word (Russian President Vladimir) Putin because I assume his international calls are all eavesdropped, but what he said shocked me, nonetheless.
‘A Colossal Threat to Free Speech in Russia’
He said the atmosphere in Russia was now “more north than North Korea.”
Specifically, he said that mere conversations by phone could be simply interrupted if one of the eavesdropping security services did not like what was being said. This is a colossal threat to free speech in Russia.
The recent decision of Russian jailed oppositionist Alexei Navalny to discontinue his hunger strike is a wise move. He could have died, or even worse, they could have force-fed him. That would have been the cruelty equivalent to torture.
In any event it does seem that Russia’s domestic political situation is becoming more extreme and when domestic politics become more extreme the national policies of the nation involved also become more aggressive.
We don’t know yet whether Russian troops will be intervening in the Ukrainian border areas, but currently they have been withdrawn and Russia is emphasizing that the military exercises have been completed.
This principle of aggressive domestic policies leading to bellicose international policies applies to North Korea itself and to China.
North Korea’s Aggressive Approach to South Korea
North Korea’s public invitation to President Joe Biden to meet for talks is less important than North Korea’s aggressive approach to South Korea.
North Korea will remain a serious danger in the world for as long as it continues to be hostile and bellicose towards its neighboring state.
China itself continues to be verbally aggressive toward countries that criticize its internal behavior.
The recent meeting between U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken and Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi in Alaska was ridiculed by the Chinese and described disparagingly by officials close to the Biden administration.
Meanwhile, the situation in Myanmar continues to be disturbing. At some point international sanctions by both the United States and the European Union could threaten the regime into even more aggressive policies toward people who protest the coup d’état implemented by the military.
Sporadic Global Unrest Amid COVID-19 Restrictions
Meanwhile, sporadic global unrest in the face of continuing COVID-19 restrictions on people is likely to continue.
Poor India is suffering an explosive increase in cases of the virus, and evidence is that future variants of COVID-19 will be even more harmful than existing ones.
The lockdowns imposed on France and Spain by their governments have elicited violent protests ,and in the case of Spain, domestic political unrest.
Meanwhile, there seem to be international controversies provoked by significant anniversaries.
France is going through its version of Black Lives Matter unrest because many French are unwilling to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the death of French emperor Napoléon Bonaparte because he reimposed slavery on France after it was abolished by the French Revolution.
In China, the more than one century anniversary of the May 4 movement of 1919 could give rise to protests in Hong Kong and other Chinese citizens against government repression of opposition.
