In the faithless political arena, it’s become a game like everything else in life, but choosing a position here could have eternal consequences. What is it? It’s the PR game of standing with abortion or adoption and Wendy’s Restaurant is making an incredibly brave choice to continue saving America’s babies by promoting life.

After all, where would Wendy’s Restaurant be today had it not been for a family choosing to adopt a baby? That adopted baby would grow up to be Dave Thomas, founder of the world's third largest hamburger fast food business with over 6,700 locations. Yet what if Dave’s birth mother had chosen to abort? How many babies have been aborted whom God preordained to make this world a better place?

Put yourself in a foster child’s place as you wait for someone to give you a forever home. Imagine the loneliness and uncertainty as you desperately hope to be seen. The Bible says what we do for the least of these, we do for God. But now, abandonment is giving way to advocacy as the fast-food chain works to disseminate a clear message of adoption over abortion with partner, the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption. This powerful step in the right direction is in stark contrast to many businesses who are cowering to the politically correct standards of today.
How? The Foundation provides funding to adoption agencies who hire recruiters to use a model that focuses on assigning a caseload that is on a smaller scale and ensures that each child receives more individualized attention. In Child Trends, it has been shown to be a more effective model, especially with teenagers, special needs children and siblings.

The late Dave Thomas and his organization, Wendy’s Wonderful Kids, was founded in 1992 after President George H.W. Bush approached him to head a national adoption awareness campaign called “Adoption Works...for Everyone.” And it has been well received in Ohio, where as of June 2019, the state had seen 330 adoptions, saving the state $64 million dollars since its inception.

So, the waiting game may be over for some children, who so desperately want a permanent home and a loving family. Thank God that this one adopted child chose to help others to share in his blessings. God be praised.
