There are innumerable fast-food restaurants in the US, but only one that has won an award for best service four years in a row: Chick-fil-A. Patrons were recently astonished and delighted when a flash mob of Christian worshipers in San Diego entered a franchise restaurant of that company and sang an acapella version of the song “Lean on me,” by African-American artist Bill Withers.
Both customers and restaurant employees joined in the singing. Chick fil-A makes a point of not working on Sundays. But on Easter Sunday last 2019 they made a point of delivering a special chicken dinner to a seven-year-old boy just before he had brain surgery. Surely an example of the Lord’s kindness at work through Christians. Chick fil-A was founded by Truet Cathy, a committed Southern Baptist.
