Oh yeah Netflix, you think you’re cool. You have a movie that shows just how gay Jesus was. Were you there? Did you catch Him in the act? Do you know this as a fact or are you using theatrical license to demean and degrade the authenticity of the Bible? Oh yeah Netflix you may have won the battle, but God has already won the war. In fact, despite the countries’ Supreme Court allowing Netflix to continue to air the show, Jair Bolsonaro, Brazil’s President has made it clear that he “believes in Jesus as his savior and that Brazil belongs to God.” Take that Netflix!
Described as the “Trump of the Tropics”, Bolsonaro takes on the enemy’s arrows and praises God for healing him after an attempt on his life September 7, 2018 that would have proved fatal in 99 out of 100 attacks. He said, “I am a survivor and owe my life to God. It was His will for me to live.” He calls himself a God-fearing man. President Jair promises to make Judeo-Christian principles a top priority in his administration. His motto is: “Brazil above everything, God above all.” It is a powerful statement that shows the importance of truth in politics for him.
With his presidency in place as a populist elected candidate, Netflix’s chance to control the airwaves in a religious and family-oriented country of Brazil will be met with stiff resistance. With Bolsonaro in charge of the political climate, he will act as President Trump does in the United States to provide protection for religious liberty and freedom to worship without retaliation. Both men are defeating corruption and violence in their countries with God’s guidance and blessing.
Concentrating on the positive, by not even mentioning the name and particulars of the Netflix “comedy”; over 2 million people signed a petition to have it removed. Bolsonaro attended The Send (a collaborative gathering by YWAM, Lou Engle Ministries, Circuit Riders, CFAN, Lifestyle Christianity, and Jesus Image, to activate as many Christians to Christ-like action as possible) where he praised God for his life.
So, Netflix can push all the inappropriate shows they want because God is on the move in Brazil. As The Send’s Facebook page proclaims, “Get ready for the greatest harvest of all times!” The Great Commission cometh, so run satan run!
