![]() Last Saturday, Caz Taylor of San Diego’s K-Praise radio, KPRZ AM 1210, reached out for a little feedback on Millennials. Pastor Jim Teak II and GODSPEED magazine publisher, Jeremy T. Lamont joined Caz in the studio to share a bit of transformative wisdom in The Holy Spirit. Lamont revealed that his personal struggles understanding Millennials had lead him to see the value in Pastor Jim Teak’s re-characterization of Millennials as “Prodigies.” The new title rang true; both from the perspective of their anointings and from the perspective of the group’s well-established prodigal nature. Once this powerful insight had been discussed, the interview turned to application. Many questions arose. How do we empower young prodigies with responsibilities without setting them up for failure? What if they’re not equipped to run the ball? What’s the best way for “mentors” (Baby Boomers and X’ers) to both guide and release these prodigies into God’s speed? Caz brought the program home for listeners by asking Jeremy and Jim to role play the two sides of the equation.
